How to Raid in 2 Player Raid Tycoon
Power pressure, vault cracks, cash runs, revenge tools, and smart retreats.
Raid loop overview
Raiding is the PvP half of 2 Player Raid Tycoon. Your factory prints cash; raids steal someone else’s. The reliable loop is simple to say and easy to botch under fire:
- Scout a target denser than your current pouch.
- Enter with your partner on agreed roles.
- Shoot power to soften defenses.
- Crack the vault once power pressure lands.
- Run cash home alive.
- Reset your own defenses before revenge lands.
Everything else—airstrikes, event detours, Predator Missile usage—is spice on that loop. If you skip power, vault fights last forever. If you skip the cash run, you donated time to the lobby.
Pair this page with How to Defend so you understand what good opponents built against you, and with Factory Building so you are not raiding while your own droppers are offline.
Pre-raid setup
Use the Raid Checklist literally. Condensed version:
- Income line running so deaths are not economy-ending
- Minimum walls / laser door / turret at home
- Weapon tier appropriate for the target (pistol is fine for soft bases; mid guns+ for contested vaults)
- Partner voice or chat ready: three calls only if needed—“power,” “vault,” “home”
- Glance at timed events; do not start a deep raid 5 seconds into Double Cash if your builder is AFK
Read Weapons for role guidance. Flamethrower shines in tight hallways; rockets are breakthrough tools, not default spray.
Step 1 — Scouting
Look for:
- Loud, unfinished factories with cash stacked and few turrets
- Teams both fighting on King of the Hill or Oddball
- Bases that just finished a raid (revenge windows cut both ways)
Avoid prestige targets when you are still on early guns unless you only plan to poke power and leave. Ego raids against fully guarded Legendary setups teach the map but empty your pouch.
Step 2 — Shoot power
Power is the raid’s first objective. Damaging or controlling the power setup weakens how hard the base fights back—laser doors, turrets, and related systems feel less oppressive when power is pressured. Assign one player as power lead and one as hallway cover.
Tips:
- Clear the route before committing both bodies into the power room
- Use cover; standing in the open against turrets wastes the clock
- Call when power is “breaking” so the vault player starts positioning
- If power is too contested, rotate out—failed power fights are how defenders farm you
You do not need invented DPS charts. Watch the defense behavior: when lasers feel weaker or turrets stutter, transition.
Step 3 — Crack the vault
Once power is pressured, force the vault. This is where mid guns and utility shine. Flamethrower denies defenders re-peeking a narrow vault mouth; rockets punish stacked guards or turret nests if you have them unlocked.
Vault etiquette for coordinated duos:
- One cracks / loots, one watches the entry they came from
- Do not both tunnel vision on the vault model
- If a guard roll looks Legendary and you are under-gunned, disengage with partial progress rather than feeding
Guards are Rare / Epic / Legendary—knowing that ladder from Guards helps you decide fight vs flee.
Step 4 — Cash run home
Stolen cash only matters on your side of the map. Plan the egress before the ingress:
- Prefer the path with fewer turret sightlines
- Stagger: one sprints with cash, one peels chasers
- Ignore side loot if it risks the pouch
- Touch home base, bank, then breathe
New raiders die at the door with full bags because they greed a second vault. One clean deposit beats two corpses.
Airstrikes and revenge
Lobbies escalate. After you bruise a team, expect revenge pushes on your factory. Sometimes that includes airstrike-style payback tools or coordinated re-raids. Post-raid discipline:
- Both players touch base.
- Rebuild broken walls / lasers immediately.
- Park one body on defense for 30–60 seconds.
- Only then spend new cash on vanity unlocks.
If you are the revenge squad, do not mirror a bad route. Change entry, re-check power, and assume they are waiting.
Predator Missile tips
The Predator Missile update adds another pressure tool to the raid meta. Practical rules of thumb:
- Save it for hardened bases, not empty tutorials
- Combine with power pressure—missiles are multipliers, not full replacements for the loop
- Communicate the strike timing so your partner is already on the vault path
- On defense, spread out and repair after impact instead of clumping in the blast habit zone
Exact button labels can shift; play the tool as a timed breakthrough, then finish the classic vault → cash run.
Events during raid windows
Air Drops, King of the Hill, Oddball, and Double Cash rotate every few minutes. Full duo playbooks live on the Events guide. Smart raiders:
- Use KotH/Oddball chaos as cover to approach a third-party base
- Avoid starting vault cracks when your partner must hold Oddball alone
- During Double Cash, prefer short raids or pure eco if your line is hungry for buttons
- Read Daily Rewards so play-time gifts are not wasted mid-dive
Weapon readiness before the push
Bring the right rung of the ladder—not the greediest gun. Follow the numbered path in Weapon Unlock Order and role notes in Weapons. A mid-gun duo that banks cash beats a rocket duo that dies at the vault mouth.
Common raid mistakes
- Skipping power because “vault is right there”
- Both partners looting while turrets free-fire the exit
- Spending Codes cash on rockets before floors exist, then raiding broke
- Ignoring home defense for three raids in a row
- Chatting essays instead of three clean calls
Practice plan
- Soft target power-only drills (leave without vault greed)
- Full loop on a medium base with mid guns
- One revenge hold at home without counter-diving
- Review Tools Hub priorities and adjust unlock order

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for codes, raids, defenses, and co-op play.
What is the correct raid order?
Scout, pressure power, crack the vault, then run cash home. Reset defenses before celebrating.
Should both players always attack?
For soft targets, yes. If your vault is exposed or a revenge is likely, leave one partner on defense.
When do I use flamethrower or rockets while raiding?
Flamethrower for hallway denial and vault mouths; rockets for breakthroughs on stacked defenses. Mid guns handle most standard clears.
How do airstrikes and revenge change the fight?
After you hit a team, expect immediate counter-pressure. Bank cash, repair entries, and hold briefly before the next dive.
How should I use Predator Missile on raids?
Save it for hardened bases, sync the timing with your partner, and still complete power → vault → cash run afterward.
